So what made you choose Bear river Nova Scotia ?
That's a question many people ask us when they learn we sold up everything and got out of England.
It was'nt the drugs,the wild parties or the hooligans hanging out on the street corner smoking dope !
Although you do get these problems in every town.
Bear River has seen nothing compared to what we're used to back in the UK.
This is a safe place to live or get away from it all and if you are looking for a change read on.

Bear River is a small community where everyone more or less knows everyone else,and it is the purpose of this website to help and inform you on how it is over here!

People here are so friendly.
They really take an interest in who you are, and where you are from.
The pace of life is Slow here, and even the people you don't know will take the time to chat, say hello or good morning.
That seemed strange at first.
Back home if someone you don't know starts talking to you for no reason, you instantly start thinking ...what do they want?
you're on your guard because you cannot trust anybody am i right?
The best way to describe Bear River is relaxed and friendly.
If you do happen to come across a crowd of youths on the street corner, you won't feel like they are going to all jump you any second.
If you were to stop and talk to them, one is likely to address you as Sir!
That seemed strange to me also, never been called sir before.

Houses To Rent
Our dream of having a nice place away,with a few acres of land was possible for us here.
Not having to work our buts off to pay for it either!
We looked at Spain,but that was too hot and very expensive,and we did'nt want to be in a concrete jungle of high rise apartment blocks on the beach.
Inland was cheaper,but then ther'es the language barrier to think about.
Many people that move to spain,my mum included are completly cut off and isolated.
We found the English and the spanish don't mix that well.
Here in Bear river the welcome was just great!
Everyone speaks english & we feel right at home.

When you buy a cheap property in Bulgaria you can guarantee you are going to need the services of a good builder you can trust.
